The pool side party at the Standard Hotel in Downtown Los Angeles is absolutely great. So basically I covered the 1st and the last pool side party of the summer 2009. All the pictures actually have been processed and posted about a week ago, sorry for updating the blog a bit later compare to others.

The pictures of the Minx Lounge last week have been posted. The Minx lounge and restaurant was a truly a fun place for a night out. For a person like me that does not know much about the music and dance could feel the beat and enjoy the music as well. Love seeing how such a big group of people having fun.

Socialize at Social Hollywood / 2009-04-09

Last week I was invited to join the UCLA CSA (Chinese Students Association)  student event (Socialize) at Social Hollywood. The lighting was really really dim, but that wasn’t the major issue. The main problem was the constantly changing lighting, plus that I forgot the charge my battery fully so my flash recharged slowly. Lucky that wasn’t a paid job and I enjoy attending the event and meeting up some old friends.

Feeling bad that I haven’t spent much time on this set of previous outdoor shooting so I restart working on some of the pictures. They are nice girls to deal with so I think their pictures deserve my spare time to work on!
