The pool side party at the Standard Hotel in Downtown Los Angeles is absolutely great. So basically I covered the 1st and the last pool side party of the summer 2009. All the pictures actually have been processed and posted about a week ago, sorry for updating the blog a bit later compare to others.

Street Snapshooting is Fun / 08.20.2009

When I have time and got nothing much to do, I love going out and snapshooting all the different things.

Last thursday, I went to Old Town Pasadena again, here they have all kinds of characters that you can find interesting to shoot.

I’ve been shooting a lot lately, really lots of pics shooting! Including cars, models, friends, pets, events. It is really a fun job but it is also time consuming and energy consuming! But I am catching up with most of my shoots. For some of the recent events like the clubbing at the Kress Hollywood, MC HotDog press conference, MC HotDog concert, I will try to post them asap cause I know you guys can’t wait!

Alrite, even I don’t sleep much, I still wanna take a break and enjoy some coffee and read my books at late night!

Kyushu Ramen / 九州拉麵

Koraku Japanese Ramen Tried Out - It Is Just So So / 2009.04.17

Phil went with us that night and here’s a little summry from him plus my editing, which most of the guys agree on:

1st time to this place called Koraku. I’ll probably never try this place on my own without my friends’ recommendation. The interior decoration was mediocre, as well as the service.

At first, when the food came we were a bit disappointed at the size. I then tried my Kyushu Ramen (九州拉麵), which was a major disappointment. The soup was overly salty and the noodle was no better than average. There was not much other ingredient in the ramen bowl other than the noodle: two small pieces of pork was floating on top of the noodle (I don’t remember what else was there). I also tried other peoples’ dishes: they were all average at best. I would not recommend this place for anyone who wants a taste of authentic Japanese Food.
